Life's a Lesson - By Phoebe Where do I start? Having been born in a middle class family that relatively struggles to get by, I had my life all planned out. I mean, how hard can it be to get through primary school, struggle with adolescence in high school trying to discover yourself, go to college, start working and when you get your first salary, start testing the waters of relationships trying to find a perfect partner to settle down with and have a family? It was so easy when my mum summed it up for me; I really thought I could conquer the world. Of course I can, it’s just, Life has a twisted way of making life interesting. You Only Live Once, most say, but at what cost? I come from a loving family where I am sufficiently provided for with what’s only enough, not too much that I can overspend or get choosy.
